About Me

An award-winning urban environmental historian, I am also a Spanish-to-English translator and a developmental editor and copyeditor. I have over a decade of experience helping humanities scholars and social scientists translate and revise their manuscripts for publication. I bring a strong analytical lens and a firm grounding in critical race, post-colonial, and feminist theory to my developmental editing projects, a firm grasp of logic and language to my line and copy editing, and a keen eye for detail to my proofreading projects. To all my work, I bring respect for the author's voice and intentions. For a list of some of the books I have edited, see my resume below. You can find my publications here.
